Palmer Hargreaves is an expanding, owner-managed communication agency with more than 200 employees and offices in Germany, the UK and China. Responsibilities
Work with us and you will decide how websites, apps, shops and campaigns of blue chips, such as Henkel, Porsche and Telekom, will feel like in the future. Your tasks in the run-up to that? Studying user types, goals, and behaviours, defining user journeys, and design architectures for intuitive user experiences. You work with an analytical, strategic, conceptual mind – and develop UX designs that are simple, logical, stringent, both in the analogue and digital world. You enjoy working in a team and implementing projects. It goes without saying that everything is intertwined – advice, creation, strategy – but you are aware of that. It is important to us that you enjoy getting into complex topics and create exciting designs in order to make content as accessible as possible. All you need to do now is be able to handle the following buzzwords and we will have to meet up!
Requirements
• Completed professional training or degree in marketing/communications
• 3 years of professional experience in user experience and interaction design
• Experience in user research, user-centred design, design thinking and conversion optimisation
• Expertise in conception and analysis of individual user scenarios (persona, use cases, customer journeys, mappings, testing, etc.)
• Experience in analysing ecosystems and KPIs to measure success
• Professional skills in Adobe Creative Suite, design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, InVision, Balsamiq) and analytics (Hotjar, Google Analytics)
• Desire to develop and support workshops for us and our customers
• Strategic consulting skills and a business mind
• Analytical and conceptual thinking, commitment and persuasiveness
• Relevant experience in customer contact and very confident in holding presentations
• Excellent command of German and English
