The Consumer Research & Insight team at Manning Gottlieb OMD at are looking for a curious, enthusiastic and collaborative to help generate insights that sit at the heart of award-winning work for clients such as Estée Lauder Companies, Specsavers, Ring, Renault, John Lewis, Waitrose, and British Airways.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Insight Business Director, you will be working alongside a brilliant team of fellow insighters, as well as data scientists, econometricians, data planners and strategists, providing innovative and cutting-edge insight and data solutions for our clients. Our team takes a progressive approach to consumer insights. We merge evolving research techniques with cultural trends, behavioural science theory, customer datasets and a wide-range of digital data sources to weave consumer-led stories that help businesses think differently about people.

The Consumer Research & Insight team plays an integral role in the agency, ensuring that our media planning and strategy is continuously grounded in research and evidence-based insights. Working closely with all the teams within the agency, the Senior Research Executive will be supporting the team to deliver insight projects such as brand tracking, audience deep-dives, cultural trends, and campaign evaluations.

Requirements

• A confident quantitative researcher, with a good knowledge of research methodologies and application (suitability of different research techniques for different needs).
• Experience in all stages of bespoke research projects from client briefing, proposal writing, fieldwork, liaising with suppliers, data analysis and drawing actionable insights from the results.
• Solid experience of working on strategic insight projects from inception through to delivery, wanting more ownership across different stages in the new role.
• Experience in qualitative research is ideal but not essential.

Communication
• Able to effectively communicate to a wide variety of people both internally and externally across the phone, via email and in meetings.
• Confidence in being key point of contact for client teams: internally and externally.
• Be self-reliant to work autonomously when required, but also have willingness to reach out and ask for help and advice.

Teamwork and Leadership
• Wanting to be a collaborative, positive member of our team.
• Help foster an inclusive and positive team environment, not only through excellent project work, but also in the daily interactions and communication with others.
• Be proactive in terms of helping others in the team/working on initiatives when there is capacity.
