We are currently looking for a talented Senior Designer at Omnicom Media Group. Placed within our fast-paced Design Studio in Business Development and Marketing, working across our agency brands that make up Omnicom Media Group in the UK. The Senior Designer will be producing creative output across the entire
spectrum of design, both on and offline, acting as brand guardian on all creative projects. The ideal candidate will be able to conceptualise, design and work on projects from start to finish.
Reporting into the Design Director, this role is highly varied, with creativity and innovative ideas at its core and would ideally suit someone with 7+ year’s industry experience.
The successful candidate will work to a flexible schedule dependant on business design needs, this may include at times, working a rotation shift with other designers in the Design Studio.
The role will provide design support on a variety of projects ranging from business development pitches and client presentations to internal marketing communications, in both digital and print. The variety of the role requires a high level of competency in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and also, very importantly, PowerPoint.
We strive to deliver work at a high standard, whether it be a PowerPoint presentation, or a leave-behind printed book, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate flexibility in switching between digital and print work to bring a design brief to life.
You will be required to work both within established brand guidelines and also be able to take design concepts to new, exciting and innovative levels – always making sure deadlines are met, managing your own workload and running several projects at the same time. Excellent skills in time-management and the ability to plan your workload will be essential in this role.

• Responsible for liaising with senior stakeholders and implementing their vision on projects and beyond
• Excellent time management and organisational skills when managing your own projects and where multiple
stakeholders are involved
• Proactive in seeking out new ways to package our design deliverables – including projects and briefs
across the Group agencies. Identifying where the Design Studio can assist in design-led thinking across
the business
• Being responsible for how the Studio Design Team are seen within the Group and constantly strive to
improve the profile and visibility of the team as a whole
• Work on creative briefs that can range from marketing collateral (including branding, social media design,
conference materials, photography, html mailers and front-end designs for digital platforms) to pitch
work (including pitch themes, pitch theatre, leave behind documents, literature, visual mock ups, image
manipulation, videos, signage)
• Work on Microsoft Office templates, and most importantly PowerPoint templates for pitch/client work.
As well as designing the look and feel for these presentations, you will be working closely with the pitch
teams to create visually stimulating content that will be used within them. A high level of competency
using PowerPoint is required – being able to set up master templates from scratch and create on brand
visuals with accuracy
• Problem solving and finding innovative solutions to briefs, always using initiative and looking for creative
ways to support the Studio
• Perform as a brand guardian for the Studio, always representing us in accordance with our values
Requirements
• Ability to work to a flexible schedule dependant on business design needs, this may include working a
rotation shift such as evening or weekend shifts with other designers in the Design Studio
• Constantly be looking out for new trends in design and beyond to inspire the Studio and the ability to
implement these in design deliverables
• Have a detailed understanding how to help make more informed decisions and demonstrate a commercial
understanding when it comes to pitches and client team briefs
• Advanced use of Adobe CC for Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Knowledge of After Effects, Premiere
Pro and Dreamweaver is an advantage
• An understanding of motion design skills would be an advantage along with experience in post production
video editing
• High level competency in Microsoft PowerPoint is essential
• A strong understanding of print production process, and be able to work collaboratively with external
suppliers and printers
• Effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills. The ability to present your design ideas
with confidence to sell in concepts and ideas
• Must have the ability to work on a number of different projects at any one time
• Have the ability to design and artwork to very tight deadlines with accuracy
• Add positively to the Studio dynamic, attending and contributing in all team meetings and enhance the
professional nature of the Design Studio
