Resolution Media is Omnicom Media Group UK’s (OMGUK) performance media specialist team and works across some of the world’s most famous brands with OMGUK agencies – OMD, Manning Gottlieb OMD, PHD Media, Hearts & Science.

As we continue to develop the Resolution Media UK proposition, we are looking for a talented Biddable Manager to join our Manchester team. Whether you specialise in Paid Search, Paid Social or have experience across both – we want to hear from you.

This is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of a small but fast-growing Manchester team with the vast career development opportunity offered through Omnicom Media Group as one of the world’s leading media networks. As the shape of the Manchester team evolves, you will have the opportunity to shape your role and how it evolves within the team.

You’ll work closely with OMGUK agency performance teams and the OMGUK central Resolution team to support the development and delivery of best in class biddable strategy for clients across the group. You’ll also have the opportunity to cross skill across biddable and gain exposure to wider digital and offline channels.

You will be comfortable working autonomously and able to effectively create and prioritise workload, showing initiative by establishing defined ways of working. This will be a fluid role, with unique opportunity to work across a variety of agencies and clients, therefore agility and an enthusiasm to embrace change is key.

Responsibilities

Experience working across PPC & Social campaigns in an agency environment

Expertise in at least one of the above with experience across the other

Understanding of the broader digital spectrum, marketing mix & media planning process

Excellent verbal & written communication skills to effectively articulate and present to a wide range of stakeholders

An analytical mind, enjoying working with large data sets to identify the drivers behind data trends, correlations, variations and outliers. You’ll use these learnings to form actionable insights

Strong attention to detail to complete tasks in an accurate manner and spot key detail within large sets of qualitative and quantitative information

Problem solving ability, applying structured techniques and proactively looking to find solutions to resolve issues

Effective organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload

Experience working within with direct (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Power Editor) and third party (Search Ads 360, Kenshoo, Marin) bid management platforms

Experience working with ad serving platforms and trafficking processes

Understanding of on-site analytics and platforms – Google, Adobe Analytics

Knowledge of search intelligence tools such as Adthena, SEMRush & Hitwise.

Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint with the ability to produce effective presentation materials

Requirements

Be responsible for campaign planning and activation across biddable media activity

Respond to briefs, collaborating with cross media teams as required

Create media plans with clear rationale on media choices and budget allocations

Ensure campaigns are built and activated on time, aligned with wider media plans and flighting

Develop strong relationships with internal and external teams

Work closely with media owners to ensure OMG are abreast of any new opportunities

Carry out keyword research and copywriting for ads, ensuring compliance and approval

Conduct audience research and activation against identified segments

Drive forward feature adoption and maturity, enabling advanced tactics

Implement processes to manage campaign budgets and pacing, avoiding under/overspends

Create and follow checklists to ensure accuracy across campaign setups

Build out or reconfigure account structures to drive optimal performance

Analyse and optimise across live accounts daily to ensure performance is aligned to client KPIs and business objectives, providing performance insights to the client and internal teams

Implement a structured test and learn schedule, regularly running multivariate experiments and building on learnings to inform future campaign testing

Coordinate and present weekly reports, PCAs and QBRs to agency teams and clients

Facilitate the smooth administration of financial reconciliations across campaigns managed

Regularly share knowledge on latest channel news and developments with the wider team, including POVs

Own and champion a selected emerging area of biddable

Contribute towards new business activities when required
