Reports To Digital Director
Position Summary The QA Tester is primarily responsible for quality assurance across all digital materials coded by the development team. The QA Tester runs various tests and reports to ensure that work meets all standards and guidelines

Responsibilities

Responsibilities To consistently ensure the delivery of ‘great stuff’
• Define and uphold the QA process and set the highest standards in testing to support the requirements of the project
• Ensure that all issues & bugs are reported in an efficient & informative manner
• Own, manage, create and regularly execute test cases throughout the project life cycle. This includes documenting testing practices, QA process and reporting methods
• Building automated performance testing and tracking
• Provide suggestions for improvements in testing strategies & processes

Demonstrates teamwork at all times
• Actively participate in test requirement gathering with the development team to ensure QA effectively tests & supports all features of the project
• Work closely with the development team in identifying, reporting & recreating bugs
• Communicates with other team members and the wider agency effectively
• Takes accountability for a range of projects using different technologies

Understands our work, our Network and our Clients
• A very good eye for detail and consistency across all work
• Builds client confidence by demonstrating an ability to successfully test and deliver a quality product
• Has knowledge and understanding of agency processes
and how QA fits into the project scope
• Acts as an advocate and supporter of DDB Remedy in all interactions
with the client or external suppliers

• Skilled in developing and implementing strong and comprehensive test plans
• A good technological understanding of front-/back-end and app development
• Proficiency with tackling larger scale, complex projects
• Continually strives to find, learn and share new technologies
• Proficiency with industry standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Provides and encourages knowledge sharing within DDB
Desirable:
• Previous experience as a font-/back-end developer
• UX/UI experience

Essential:
• Relevant qualifications either university or apprenticeship
• Proficient in QA testing and generating reports
• A thorough understanding of digital processes
• Must be friendly, approachable and have a ‘can do’ attitude
