We have multiple opportunities available across our Dublin Engineering Development Center and are looking for candidates who are curious to learn and grow with Microsoft Ireland.
Responsibilities
Work in a combined engineering organization to drive design, development, testing and release of web client / services that enhances customer experiences as outlined above.
Helping evolve development guidelines, practices & principles for a world where client and services development & delivery is moving faster than ever.
Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices through design reviews.
Designing resilient, scalable, and easily maintainable software.
Fostering a data driven approach to everything we do.
Gain a working understanding of Microsoft businesses and collaborate with mentors and leaders in order to contribute to cohesive, end-to-end experiences for our users.
Requirements
Industry experience designing, building, testing & shipping software.
Experience with modern client-side/web technologies such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Webpack, Node.js or similar.
Experience building libraries, SDKs, and other development platform components, preferably using JavaScript/TypeScript.
Object-oriented design, coding and testing patterns.
Experience in building and evolving web applications and / or cloud services.
Strong problem-solving skills and are comfortable in dealing with ambiguity.
Ability to handle competing priorities in fast paced environment.
An ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
