PROFILE
My name is Ira and I am a film producer from Ukraine. Between 2013-2019 I used to live in Poland. I’ve graduated from Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University with Bachelor’s degree in Film and TV Production Management. While living in Poland I had a chance to co-work with Warsaw Film School and National Film School in Łódź creating short movies. I’ve done some internships in leading companies such as Mediakraft TV. Also, I had a chance to co-work with some of my professors on documentaries that were made in co-production with Ukraine.
After 7 years of living and working abroad, I came back to Ukraine. Mostly I used to work on international productions because of my languages skills. I fluently speak 4 languages. Among them is Ukrainian, English, Polish, Russian. At the moment I am learning and practicing my German which is on a basic level.
While living in Ukraine I financed and produced my own projects as well as helped other producers who were working with European funds. I’ve never stopped learning and have been keeping taking masterclasses, workshops, lessons from leading Ukrainian and European professionals in the film industry.
Due to the war that is taking place in Ukraine at the moment, I was forced to flee the country leaving behind my family who are totally dependent on me. That’s why I am looking for a job in Europe as an assistant to the producer or another position in the film production department. Both long-term offers and single projects work for me.
I would be glad to zoom with you or meet you in person to tell you more about my life and professional experience. In the attachment, you can find my CV. Thank you in advance.
