Radio Skonto Plus is a local commercial broadcast translating in Russian. Radio Skonto Plus plays on the frequency 102.3 MHz in Riga, Latvia, and its surroundings.
Radio Skonto Plus is one of the few radio stations broadcasting live on the air in Russian with content created in Latvia. Radio Skonto Plus is live on weekdays from 6am to 7pm. Our news service provides listeners with the most important news in Latvia and over the world.

Responsibilities
• Keeping up to date with news agencies and other media to be competent in all matters related to society and its affairs;
• Collecting information and creating short news messages, descriptions and interviews;
• Working with various sources of information: Internet news sources, documents, officials, experts, etc.
• Producing a high quality news report and reading it on the air

Requirements
• Knowledge of various information retrieval methods and types of journalism;
• Knowledge of print and electronic mass media and the journalist profession specifics;
• Is familiar with industry legislation and journalistic ethic’s standards;
• Clear and perfect speech diction;
• High sense of responsibility;
• Ability to react quickly and make independent decisions;
• Fluent Russian and English.
• Higher education;
• Excellent skills in working with MS Office programs;
• Knowledge of print and electronic mass media and the journalist profession specifics;
